Meet the Appraiser
Andria Minicucci, MSc., ISA AM
Andria Minicucci is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the President of the Canadian Chapter of the ISA. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from McGill University and a Master's degree with distinction from the University of Edinburgh, specializing in Modern and Contemporary Art History. Her expertise is furthered by certificates from Sotheby’s Institute of Art and Christie’s Education.
Andria Minicucci has gained significant experience working with prestigious institutions such as the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Royal Scottish Academy, and in the commercial contemporary art sector, including roles at Galerie Samuel Lallouz and Landau Fine Art. In 2016, she founded Artefact Fine Art, where she serves as the principal appraiser. She maintains her qualifications with regular USPAP updates and continuous education, and in 2022, she received the Silver Scholarship from the Foundation for Appraisal Education. She regularly attends lectures on advanced appraisal methodology and connoisseurship as well as industry conferences. She also Co-Chaired the ISA’s annual appraisers conference ASSETS in 2024.
Her writing on contemporary art has been published in Esse: Arts + Opinions magazine, artist catalogues, and a chapter in a museum monograph titled RetroActive of artist John Greer for his major retrospective with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
